Xatchett

The girls are using "shtirlmal" (Gnomish for "Silent speech"), a sign language used mainly among the Gnome diaspora.

The Fomoire (or “fomorians”) here - an ancient race of shape-shifters that has long ago lost the ability to control their transformation. Shmork, incidentally, is a fomoir.

The Sidhe – an incorrect abbreviation of "aes sidhe" (Irish for "dwellers of the hills"). Also known as "Tuatha" (as in "Tuatha Dé Danann"), they are distant relatives of elves.

Both of these races are common in the New World, mostly because they were here long before the arrival of the first human colonists. For those who know their Irish folklore – they are the descendants of those who supported Bres and who fled overseas after his defeat. Both races are considered “Dark people”, although the Fomoire are somewhat neutral, however, they get no love from the “light” folks because of their appearance. And as for the Sidhe, they hate both the Light and the Dark.
